So, I got an A- on the first assignment of my course. I submitted the second a couple of days ago and it will hopefully get a better mark. I sure worked on it long enough. Apparently my grammar sucks on formal papers though. The first page was completely marked up once my dad was through with looking at it. However, my grammar got better as the paper went on - or he just got bored of reading it.
The Olympics are coming in a few days. I'm excited because Vancouver has become the centre of attention for the world, perhaps in the nick of time. Perhaps the world can see that a lot of the propaganda of "Beautiful British Columbia" is just a load of BS. Homelessness, drugs, and corruption - all hidden by a big white tent of Olympic festivities and two weeks of over-expensive fun for elitist pricks unable to recognize poverty if it walked out in front of them. (But the impoverished won't show up - they are supposed to stay inside a couple of makeshift buildings until the games are over).
No one should be protesting now though - we can be sour, but we can't protest. The money is already spent and we can't do a thing about it.
To make it worse - I have to wear patent leather high heeled gogo boots to work during the Olympics.
GOGO BOOTS! - that's all I have to say about that.
